FAQ
How does the 12 months Pro free actually work?▾
On signup we flip your org to "founding" — that grants Pro features (Friday + Gamify Power) for 12 months without billing you. You also pay 5.00% platform fee on member-paid charges instead of the standard 7.77% for those 12 months. After month 12 you can stay on Free, add à la carte add-ons, or move to Pro for $99/mo — whichever fits.
What does the reduced platform fee save me?▾
On a $10k/mo gym in member-paid charges, 2.77% × $10k = ~$330/mo, ~$3,960 over the year. On a $50k/mo gym that's ~$1,650/mo. The savings stack on top of the free Pro features.
Is Friday actually unlimited?▾
On a Founding gym, Friday is capped at 100 questions/day so we keep our compute costs sane. That's well above what a normal gym hits — you won't feel it. The standard Pro daily cap is also 100/day.
What do you ask in return?▾
Three small things. (1) One ~30-minute case-study interview after you've been live for 90 days. (2) Permission to feature your gym's name + logo on /founding once you go live. (3) A 30-minute monthly founder call during the 12 months, then a quarterly call after that.
Do I keep the founding badge forever?▾
Yes. is_founding_gym is a permanent flag — the badge shows on your profile and in the GymSync UI for as long as you're on the platform, even after the 12-month free period ends.
What happens when all 12 spots are claimed?▾
The homepage + /founding banners flip to a waitlist CTA. If a founding gym churns within the first 90 days, we offer the freed slot to the top of the waitlist.
